Court Square West

Court Square West is an energy-intensive building due to housing emergency management functions, extensive computer infrastructure, and Facilities Management staffing around the clock. However, a comprehensive lighting retrofit by AIRE in 2008 reduced electricity use about 15 percent, and continued progress in operational efficiencies reduced energy use further. Additional lighting retrofits were completed in early 2011. Since 2007, Court Square West has seen a nearly 20 percent reduction in electric use.
