The Water Control Center is the nerve center of the County’s water distribution system with water operators on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year monitoring the status of our water pumping facilities, ensuring that the system is operating efficiently, and responding to after-hour emergencies. This building is counted as an office in Portfolio Manager, but because it is less than 5,000 square feet it cannot receive a rating. Total energy use at this facility has been relatively steady since 2007, with some visible changes in natural gas use due to weather.
