Volunteers should dress to work outdoors, and are encouraged to bring their own work gloves and water bottles. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing, and should cancel their registration if they have any COVID symptoms, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Work takes place both in Donaldson Run Park and in National Park Service land along the Potomac. Volunteers may have to hike up to a mile over rough terrain.
