Join DES staff to learn more about the stormwater portion of the FY2021 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) – a major step toward building a more Flood Resilient Arlington. This is an information session to communicate about the various elements proposed in the CIP, including stormwater capacity improvements, increased system maintenance and water quality projects.
Hear about the design work currently underway for significant investments for watershed-scale solutions in high-risk areas prone to flooding. Learn more about how these projects are proposed to be funded, including a bond referendum.

The Board will hold a work session with the County Manager on the Proposed CIP at 3 p.m. July 9. The work session will be live-streamed on the County website and Arlington Television’s YouTube channel and broadcast live on Verizon FiOs Channels 39 and 40 and Comcast Xfinity 25.
The Board will adopt the FY 2021 CIP at its July 18, 2020, Regular County Board Meeting.

The Stormwater Bond Referendum will be included on the November 3, 2020 ballot for Arlington voters.
